2 Openings for Full-time English Teachers

Cixi City, China – US-Canada International English School, has 2 openings for full time English teachers starting as soon as possible for a one year, renewable contract. OUTGOING, ENTHUSIASTIC teachers with a love for learning through song, dance, rhymes, games and creativity are wanted! North American teachers with Early Childhood and/or ESL experience are encouraged to apply. Unique qualifications such as camp counselling, coaching, and childcare will also be considered.

Cixi City is located 2 hours from Shanghai. Accommodations are included in the teaching package and are located within a 20-minute walk of the school, a large shopping mall, numerous restaurants, KTV, movie theatres and more. Foreign cuisine options include KFC, Pizza Hut and Starbucks. A great city to experience the Chinese culture and learn the Mandarin language, as English is not commonly spoken.

The teaching package is for one year, with a resigning bonus. US-Canada International English School ensures that students and teachers are well cared for, thus an excellent salary is offered.

Location: Cixi City, Zhejiang Province, China

Students: Children aged 4 to 12; possibility to teach older students and adults

Class size: Maximum 12 students

Teaching hours: Maximum of 40 hours per week/5 days per week. Most classes are taught on weekends, thus additional days are largely for preparation. Overtime pay for additional hours/days worked. During the Summer months the school is open Monday-Friday.

Qualifications:

•Outgoing and enthusiastic personality is a must!

•Native English speaker preferably from Canada or U.S.A.
