Kings is now developing a network of teaching centres in China under the Kings brand, in association with Astral UK, Kings’ Malaysian based joint venture company. This has been established by Kings as a platform to support educational development projects in China. The company provides schools in China with the opportunity to establish international senior high school level provision with progression opportunities on to pathways to leading universities in the US, UK or Malaysia.

Kings are currently seeking an experienced and driven education professional to work with colleagues from the UK, US and Malaysia to develop and manage the delivery of its international programmes with partner schools across China.

Working closely with the Centre Manager and colleagues, the Teachers will be responsible for the delivery of the curriculum at their Centre. They will work collaboratively, in line with the Astral ethos and values at all times, to contribute to a positive working and learning environment for all colleagues and students.

As teachers in an international environment, a pro-active and flexible approach is required. The international curriculum will be delivered in a dedicated, specialist centre, embedded within a Chinese school.

Job package:

 15,000 – 19,000 RMB monthly (before tax), based on qualifications and experience 
 Contract from August 2019 to July 2020 
 Performance bonus: up to RMB10,000 according to KPI 
 Flight tickets: a return flight ticket 
 Paid annual leave: 15 days during school holidays (usually during Chinese New Year) 
 Paid China national public holidays 
 Visa is provided, with admin support throughout the entire process

 No more than 20 hours’ face to face teaching a week. No more than 40 contracted hours per week
