PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Directs the curriculum, instruction and international teacher human resources needs of the school. The Assistant Director leads the instructional practices of international courses. Assures best practices in instructional delivery, materials, assessment, for each instructional program. Is responsible for human resources tasks to maintain highly qualified international teachers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Hold an advanced degree of Education in Administration from an accredited college or university or shows significant experience as a program coordinator or curriculum director in an age 15-18 school system. is preferred

Experience in leading the implementation and improvement of academic programs

Demonstrated experience in instructional leadership. Successful teaching experience. Effective organizational planning and project management skills.

Demonstrates current knowledge of, and the ability to apply broad-based curriculum designs and instructional technology applications that support the diverse learning needs of students.

Understanding of how to effectively administer teachers.

Establish working relationships with co-workers and function as part of a cohesive team.

Complies with school policies, and administrative guidelines/procedures and all international work visa requirements.

A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.

Adheres to the Professional Conduct outlined in the school’s contracts.

Meets all mandated Chinese health screening requirements.
