A+ Foreign Education Training and Developing Officer Is Needed in Dalian!
OUTLINE
The A+ Education Training and Developing Department is a key figure in keeping Aston at the fore-front of the industry. They will work with the team to develop and review new products for the Aston A+ range with focus on Baby Club, Smart Club and World Club Courses, and work to maintain A+’s cutting-edge as an education provider. The manager will work with the education team to help A+ build a top quality brand, and increase revenues and profits.
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Research
1.1 Assist team to research new educational philosophies and methodology and their potential application to the A+ Baby Club, Smart Club and World Club.
1.2 Keep up-to-date with educational developments and practices including the attendance of seminars and trainings and the reading of periodicals and journals related to the education industry.
1.3 Provide professional advice on the integration of new courses with the existing products to the A+ Brand Manager and the Executive Team (CEO, President and EVP).
1.4 Review, evaluate and recommend, in conjunction with the Head Office Education team and the Executive team, potential new products and services to enhance A+’s portfolio of programs.
1.5 Seek out co-operative opportunities and build relationships with new partners to enhance and expand programs.
1.6 Create timelines for recommended courses, including targets and budgetary information.
1.7 Work with team to carry out necessary tests at this stage and throughout the process to ensure all aspects of the course meet with requirements and maintain the level of quality associated with the high-end, cutting-edge A+ Brand.
2 Development
2.1 Monitor and facilitate Baby Club, Smart Club and World Club courses on-going development and production in conjunction with the other brand staff and Head Office department heads.
2.2 Work with the team to design and write new products or programs where applicable.
2.3 Develop written and other media materials including but not limited to lesson guidelines, class pace etc and ensure clarity, organization, accuracy, style, and quality of written work.
3 Train and Execute Baby Club, Smart Club and World Club
3.1 Work to ensure that marketing, managerial and training staff are supplied with the information required to promote and conduct programs and products in schools.
3.2 Work with A+ departmental heads and regional and school managers to set up a sustainable training & development plan for the programs
3.3 Produce training materials for trainings, using information technology where appropriate, including the development of e-learning methods of training delivery with consultation with the Education, Training and Development Manager.
3.4 Manage the delivery of training and development programs alongside the training team.
3.5 Ensure all related training activities and materials meet with relevant organizational policies, including health and safety, employment and equality policies.
3.6 Conduct trainings to new employees (requiring business travel of about 4 times a year)
3.7 Contribute to franchise training (requiring business travel of about once or twice a year)
3.8 Monitor and review the progress of training interventions by using observation,questionnaires and thorough discussions with school managers/ employees
4 Support and Review
4.1 Offer continual support to schools and regions in the implementation of programs
4.2 Co-ordinate support from the Head Office and regions to the schools
4.3 Work with Head Office Education team to set-up systems whereby information on the advantages, problems and changes relating to the new programs are collected by schools and delivered to relevant parties in a timely manner.
5 Others
Other duties as requested by the Executive Team that can reasonably be considered to fall within the bounds of the post.
5.1 Assisting with promotional activities at A+ schools across China
5.2 Giving demo classes to students and parents
5.2 In the case of emergency and urgent situations, subbing for absent teachers
