A Full-time English Teacher Needed in Korean School in Yantai, China

Position: 1 Full-time English Teacher (Elementary School)

Eligibility:

• Be a citizen of a country where English is the first language based on visa eligibility of Yantai Immigration law (USA, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, England)
• Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• 2-year career as a full-time English teacher

Salary Offered(before tax):

• Basic Salary : 13,000RMB per month (156,000RMB per year)
• Housing: 3,000RMB for 1~2 family member(s), 3,500RMB for more than 3 family members
• Either 500RMB for teaching certification or 300RMB for TESOL or TEFL(over 60hrs) etc
• Completion bonus : amount of the basic salary
• Experience and qualification remuneration based on the established school scale will be added to the basic salary(0~1000RMB)
• Yearly incentive bonus based on performance
• For applicants from overseas a one-way flight ticket(economy) is provided
• School lunch and a commuter bus is provided for free from a certain location
• Salary could be going up next year depending on the school board’s opinion
• Get paid during summer and winter break

• Education degree

• Certification in Subject Areas

Position Description:

Contract Period: March 1, 2021~February 28, 2022(Teachers may renew their contract

 with a mutual written agreement.)

Working Days: Monday-Friday (working regulation is equally applied to Korean and foreign

teachers during Summer vacation (30 days) and winter vacation (50 days).

 Teaching Hours: 20 teaching hours a week, one teaching hour is 40 minutes

Working Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The term of Contract: One-year probationary contract with the possibility of renewal.
