A Top International School in Beijing Is Looking for Teachers!
Our International School runs one of the top K-12 institutions in China with programs terminating in Australian, American and British high school diplomas as well as university foundation courses. We are committed to providing a holistic, research based education to our students. It is our goal to train ethically minded global citizens who make real contributions to the world. As such, we are seeking caring and motivated teachers with a passion for their own growth, development, and impact on young minds. Our school is growing rapidly and there are many opportunities for teachers who demonstrate commitment and excellence. We have a variety of teaching positions available throughout the K-12 spectrum. Because of our location in China, all teachers work with language learners and should be prepared to facilitate their linguistic development.
We have a large, international campus and some of the most modern teaching facilities in Beijing. There are currently over 3,000 students studying with us.
Our programs include:
- International High School department (grade 9-12)
- WACE – Western Australian Certificate of Education
- ASE – American Senior Education (AP courses)
- BSE – British Senior Education (Cambridge International A-Levels)
- ELC – English Learning Center (intensive English programming)
- IUP – International University Program (university foundations)
- Middle school (grade 7 to 8)
- Primary school (grade 1 to 6)
- Kindergarten(3-12 years old)
Information for applicants:
- Starting contracts are for a one year duration
- Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 5:30 (including all administration time)
- Standard teaching hours are twenty or less per week
- Class sizes range from 10-30 depending on the program and enrollment
- Benefits include:

Preferred teacher qualifications:
- BA degree in linguistics or applied linguistics; B.Ed with licensure for
- English/EALD/ESL; MA/M.Ed/M.Sc in linguistics, education, ESL/EAL or similar
- Minimum requirements for all teachers:
- Native English speakers from the Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United
- Kingdom, or the United States
- Clean criminal record
- Able to pass a basic health check
- Age between 25-55
- BA degree and TESOL/TEFL certificate
- At least two years related teaching experience
