Academic Principals Needed in Jilin/hunan Schools

We are now inviting applications for Center Academic Principals for the coming academic year. Positions are available in Changsha, Hunan and Changchun, Jilin.

• Salary: 25,000-28,000 rmb/ mo (according to qualifications); Working Hours: 40 hours/week

Qualifications:

• Native English Speaker
• Academic qualification at post-graduate or equivalent level or relevant professional qualifications
• Normally a minimum of five years teaching experience
• Normally a minimum of five years education management experience
• An understanding of Western and Chinese higher education system
• An understanding of international postsecondary courses as well as the needs and requirements of international students
• Experience of academic assessment and standards and of quality assurance procedures
• Potentials and experiences in the development of academic programs

Responsibilities:

• L ead the academic team to achieve teaching objectives and student’s management;
• Summarize teaching hour requirements for different subjects, make teaching proposal for different programs subject teaching, for regional principal to approve;
• Responsible for subject teaching faculty allocation for different programs, involve in new hire and training;
• Approve subject teachers’ daily and weekly teaching plan;
• Approve selected teaching material by subject teacher, approve collected teaching material for all subject and manage it effectively;
• Execute subject teaching;
• Timely monitor the subject teaching quality to ensure teaching quality improvements;
• Support Center Principal to coordinate with overseas academic institutions;
• Responsible for testing and marking arrangements;
• Communicate and interact closely with relevant departments;
• Responsible for periodical work summary and produce termly and yearly report;
• Assist to manage the introduction of new programs at delivery centers;
• Support marketing activities at local center;
• Support Quality Assurance department with teaching assessment and program development.
