Secondary English / Secondary Social Studies - March 1, 2015

> Qualifications:

- You must have a minimum of BA in Education for the position listed above

- You must be certified in Secondary (grades 7-12) English and/or Social studies

- You must have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience with the high school English or Social Studies curriculum in the US.(years count only after being certified)

- You must be a native English speaker between the ages of 23 and 55

- You must have an American passport

*If you are a native English speaker with a bachelor's degree, but don't qualify for the position above ask us about other potential positions if you are flexible.

> Salary/Benefits:

$30,000-$32,000 salary (keep in mind that the cost of living is lower + free housing)

· Housing stipend of 3500RMB= $567 USD/month

· Transportation stipend of $1700 for roundtrip airfare

· Shipping reimbursement up to $500

> School Description:

Students in this high school will attend this American high school during their 10th and 11th grade years, preparing them to attend their 12th grade year in a U.S. high school and then move on to a U.S. university. Its mission is to meet the needs of all students while preparing them for success within the global community and equipping them to become culturally literate by developing critical thinking and communication skills

The program will be focused on grades 10 and 11 under a US curriculum for Chinese students entering university in America. One of the many benefits is that teachers can essentially teach standards that align with the standards in the US. There may be other non-Chinese students as well.
