American-run School in Beijing Wants American Teachers

 
USA English is a small, American-run English school in Beijing, China. We're looking for American teachers to join our team.

Our school is located in the Haidian District near both the subway network and Beijing's international university area, including its restaurants, bars, clubs, and more. Our team of young professionals is also small but diverse, and we have a good time both in and outside of work.

Primarily our school teaches students ages 5-15, along with some high school students and adults. But unlike most other private English schools, our class sizes are only 1-8 students per class, and our students are some of the best in the city. Most students are long-term with classes once or twice each week so there is ample opportunity to form bonds with the kids and see their learning progress.

We provide all the teaching materials you need, including curricula, multimedia, flashcards, toys, and games to make learning fun for both you and the students. Plus you'll have the freedom and opportunity to develop your own teaching materials and style.

All of our teachers get a legal visa.

Our requirements:

-Passion for education

-Minimum one-year contract

-American

-Bachelor’s degree

Our compensation:

-12,000-14,000 RMB/month salary

-3000 USD bonus on completion of a 1-year contract

-A monthly stipend to help pay for Chinese language class

-Arrival and accommodation assistance

-Access to a VPN at school

-All-you-can-drink coffee

Our hours:

-Weekends: 9:00 AM to 6 p.m.

-Weekdays: 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM

-Two consecutive days off per week

-Paid Chinese national holidays
