Anseong, South Korea - Great Teacher Need for a Great School. June Start

We had a great school in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province who are looking to hire a new staff member at the end of June. We have worked with this school for many years. They really take care of their teachers and are good people. Teachers tend to stay at this school for longer than their contract period. The school are happy to put prospective teachers (following a successful interview) in touch with current teachers before they accept a contract.

Starting date: The end of June 2015

Salary: 2.1 Million

Overtime payment: 15.000

Students Level: Kindergarten to Elementary (5 ~ 11 years old)

Class Schedule: 13:30 ~ 18:30 or 19:30 / (occasionally adults) 3.30-9.30

Hours Per Month: 120 Hours

Type of housing: Furnished single accommodation housing provided

Return air-fare: Reimbursed

Severance Pay: One month salary after completion of 1 year contract

Health Insurance: Shared 50% coverage of medical insurance with the company

Vacation Days: 10 days of paid holiday + Korean national holidays

Training: 2 – 5 days

Teaching Materials: Provided

Foreign Teachers: 4

Additional Information

Anseong is a city 80km South of Seoul. Both schools are owned and managed by the same family. The school is very successful in the area due to teachers staying for their full contract and possibly longer. Daily meals are provided free of charge. Input into the curriculum is encouraged.

Excellent accommodation provided with free computer (internet you pay for but it is cheap), cable TV, very modern, spacious apartments.
