Beijing Schools - 18,000rmb($2600) After Tax + Free Accomm + Free Flights + Other Bonuses

With around one month’s holiday in winter and 1-2 months’ summer holiday, teaching in a Beijing public school leaves ample time for travelling and provides an attractive salary on which do so.

Your priority will be inspiring your students to love English – so your classes will mainly consist of playing games, singing songs and reading stories. Your whole class will be taught in English, though you will have a Chinese teaching assistant with you to help with classroom management and give translations where necessary. 

Our Beijing public school positions currently have two contract types to choose from:

 #Public schools Contract Type #1

• 15,000-18,000RMB monthly base salary after tax (approx. 2200-2600USD or 1715-2060GBP)
• Free accommodation or monthly housing reimbursement up to 2000RMB (approx.. 290USD or 230GBP)
• 6000RMB flight reimbursement (approx. 900USD or 700GBP)
• 10 month contract – September to June
• 1 month’s fully paid winter vacation + other Chinese public holidays
• 20 teaching hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Working visa provided
• Commercial insurance
• Contract renewal bonus of 5000-10,000RMB
• Airport pick-up and assistance with settling in

Teaching experience is useful but not required.

 You need to:

• Be a native English speaker
• Have an undergraduate degree (all subjects and classifications welcome)
• Have a clean criminal record

Public Schools Contract Type #2

• 15000RMB monthly base salary (around 2200USD or 1715GBP)
• 4000RMB monthly housing reimbursement (580USD or 450GBP)
• 3 months’ paid summer + winter holiday plus Chinese national holidays
• Flight reimbursement from 8000-13000RMB (1160-1880USD or 915-1486GBP)
• 20 teaching hours per week
• Working visa provided
• Free breakfast and lunch
• Airport pick-up and assistance with settling in

Teaching experience is useful but not required.

• Be a native English speaker
• Have an undergraduate degree (all subjects and classifications welcome)
• Have a clean criminal record
