BDW Foreign Language School is the premier language training center in Changchun. It is the largest and longest established school of its kind in Changchun, Jilin province. The school was started by American teacher David Puckett (Chinese name Bai Da Wei) who remains Headmaster of the school. Started with only three teachers and one school, we now are located throughout the city in eight established locations with nearly 25 foreign teachers. We have increased our student enrollment considerably this semester and need teachers right away. Many teachers sign on for multiple years with our current faculty average at 2.4 years. We pride ourselves in balancing a great working environment for teachers as well as giving teachers the opportunity to be a part of this great country and city.

Qualifications:

¥ ability to work a minimum 12 month contract

¥ native English speakers from the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.

¥ a Bachelors degree

¥ a TESOL certificate (preferred)

Compensation:

´8,000 - ´9,000 per month (base salary, housing, annual bonus)

22 hours basic contract

Free transport to teaching sites

Accommodation

35 days paid leave per contract period (holidays and vacation time)

Medical coverage

Accrued sick days

Weekly Chinese class (courses commence twice per year)

´7000 contract completion bonus for first year teachers, ´8200 if teacher signs on for second year

Work visa processing
