British ECO school seeks Female Oral English teacher. South West China. (Golf Driving range, rowing and horse riding all within school campus).

Located in the low pollution, South West Chinese city of Guiyang and surrounded by picture perfect lakes, hot springs and beautiful scenery, Guiyang Prime International Academy (GPIA) is a British Style International ECO school.

Teaching students from 12-15yrs, the middle school oral English teacher will be responsible for delivering Oral English lessons across the middle school, based on a provided curriculum framework / syllabus.

GPIA aims to equip all its graduates with 4 key skills. The thematic areas covered are as follows:

1. Environmental Awareness - with solar panels, wind turbines and rain water filters built into the school, GPIA believes that all students should have a basic understanding of how green technology works. We believe in teaching students the fundamentals of green technology, the benefits of recycling & conservation and giving real world examples of the benefits of being green. A cross curricular approach is taken so that environmental awareness is built into the curriculum.

2. World Wide Entrepreneur - how do you make a website? What’s the difference between coding a website and coding an APP? how do you start a business? Using the website KICKSTARTER, students are introduced to real life entrepreneurs who give an insight into real life business and start-up experiences.

3. Robotics, with companies like UBER, APPLE and TESLA investing millions in Artificial Intelligence, GPIA ensures that all its students have a basic understanding of robotics and how it relates to machine learning and AI.

4. Bilingualism - Students will be taught in an immersive Bilingual environment that extends beyond the classroom and throughout all aspects of school life.

Professional Development (PD) is key for all teachers, GPIA has both in-house and externally provided PD throughout the academic year, for both subject specific teachers and Oral English teachers.

Renumeration package details:
Acomodation, Medical Insurance, Flight tickets, Annual bonus, Annual salary increase, Annual leave - are the same as other International Schools in South West China.
Monthly salary is 12,000rmb after tax.
