Shij ia Education is a Canadian owned and operated education company offering comprehensive programs for English learners. Growing Planet (GP) operates Pre-K and Kindergarten programs for 2-6 year olds providing a broad-based curriculum including arts, mathematics, science and other subjects.

Growing Planet (GP) was created to introduce a western early childhood educational program to Chinese families. Completely taught by foreign teachers, we strive to provide a caring, family oriented environment for the children to learn and play cheerfully. Our curriculum combines excellent educational methods in the field of language acquisition and early childhood education while maintaining a cultural balance between innovative learning techniques and traditional academic foundations. At Growing Planet, our young students become fluent in English through a variety of stimulating, hands-on activities and lively conversations with our caring foreign teachers in a full-day immersion program.

We are now hiring for the Day School program starting in August. These are year-long, full-time teaching positions.

We are seeking a caring, patient and energetic teachers who enjoy working with children ages 2 to 6. Candidates should be self-confident and flexible to cultural differences. We are looking for team players who enjoy collaborating with others in growing our school.

POSITION 1: Pre-Kand Kindergarten Lead Teacher (1 vacancy)

Details:

  Nati ve English Speakers from North America, UK or Australia


• 
  Bachelor’s degree (teaching license/certificate preferred)

  Early childhood educationand/or child care experience required

  Due to Visa Restrictions, candidates need to be between 25-60

  Work Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Fridays (27.5 contact hours)

  2 hour lunch break

  Location: Tianjin City(3rd largest city in China, 30 minutes from Beijing)

  Contract duration: July 29, 2013 to end of July 2014

  Compensation: 10,000 to 17,000 (depending on qualifications)
