BDW Foreign Language School is the largest and longest established school of its kind in Changchun, Jilin province. We are a SAFEA licensed organisation. What we offer:
• a fair contract that delivers precisely what it states
• support with your ‘Z’ visa and arrangement of your resident’s permit
• ongoing training and development irrespective of experience
• 25 teaching hours p/w for 7,500RMB or prorated down to 20 hours if preferred, plus 2 hour weekly staff meeting. Mandatory paid overtime may be required over the summer and winter camps (3-9 hours per week for up to 4 weeks for each camp).
• classes are taught with the support of a Chinese teacher
• annual bonus of 7,000RMB plus up to 3,000RMB attendance bonus on completion of a one year contract
• professional training and development and genuine opportunities to progress to supervisory and management roles
• 14 days paid annual leave plus 7 days unpaid. Additional leave possible.
• Medical cover plan
• School managed and furnished accommodation (cost to you is 1000RMB/month)
• Free transportation to and from school
• Free 10 hour intensive basic Chinese classes
What we need:
• a committed teacher that can teach all ages of children. Some adult classes may be offered.
• teachers seeking to work a minimum 12 month contract
• native speakers for language being taught.
• a Bachelor’s degree (desirable)
• some form of Teaching English certification (desirable)
• past teaching experience and lesson planning (advantageous)
