China - (changchun, Wuxi, Wuhan, Nanchang, & Qingdao)

Lambton College, Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, is assisting partner schools in
China with recruitment of teachers to start in August/September 2012. It is anticipated that EFL, Academic English, Business/Finance and Accounting Teachers will be required.

Discover ancient and contemporary China! Learn more about one of Canada's largest trading partners. Gain overseas teaching experience and develop a network of international contacts. Interact with a team of 30-40 international teachers at our two largest partner schools (Changchun & Wuxi) and make new friends in a supportive environment. Interact with a team of 2-7 teachers at our smaller partner schools (Wuhan, Nanchang & Qingdao).

Contract Terms:
- Daytime classes: Monday - Friday
- 20 teaching hours per week for EFL and Academic English positions
- Business/Finance/Accounting: 16 teaching hours per week in Changchun, 18 teaching hours per week in Wuxi, and 20 teaching hours in Wuhan
- Teach year one, two, or three college students
- One semester contracts in Changchun, Qingdao, and Wuhan
- One or two semester contracts in Wuxi
- Two semester contracts only in Nanchang
- Additional incentives for renewed contracts at our two largest partner schools
- Paid round-trip airfare
- Furnished private accomodation at our partner schools in Changchun, Qingdao, Wuxi, and Nanchang
- Private, fully-furnished bedroom, sitting room and western-style bathroom at our partner school in Wuhan. Fully furnished living room and well-equipped kitchen to be shared with one other teacher.

Salary Information:
- Competitive Chinese salaries
- Salaries are based on a monthly rate and are determined by the area of specialization and location of the partner school
- Salary ranges are based on the teachers' university degree level
- EFL teachers earn between 5000-6000 RMB per month
-Academic English teachers earn between 5000-7000 RMB per month
- Business, Finance, and Accounting teachers earn between 8000-9000 RMB per month at our two largest partners (Changchun & Wuxi)
- An additional 500 RMB food allowance per month is offered by the schools in Changchun, Qingdao, and Wuxi

Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree is a minimum requirement
- MBA is required for a Business, Finance, or Accounting position
- TESL/TEFL Certification is required at the partner school in Wuxi for EFL positions
- TESL/TELF Certification is preferred at our other partner schools for EFL positions
- Minimum two years of teaching experience required at the partner school in Wuxi
- Two years of teaching experience preferred at the other partner schools
