Cixi City, China – Canadian Owned Meijia English Training School is hiring full time English teachers for a one year, renewable contract, starting September 1st. Committed, professional and enthusiastic teachers are encouraged to join this progressive school.

Work hours:
• 35 hours per week/5 days, after regular school hours, from September to June
• 40 hours per week/5days from July to August
• Substantial preparation time is included

Student Age:
• The majority of the students range from SK to Grade 9, however, teachers are required to teach all ages if there is a demand

Benefits:
• 13,000 – 15,000 RMB monthly salary (based on qualifications and experience)
• 2 weeks paid holidays (1 weeks during Christmas, one week during Chinese New Year)
• Flight ticket reimbursement of up to 8,000 RMB upon completion of the contract

• Furnished accommodations (suite with bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen)

Qualifications:
• Must be native English speaker from USA or Canada
• Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree
• TEFL/TESOL or Teacher’s college degree is preferred
• ESL, ECE, camp counselling, and childcare experience is an advantage
• Must have an outgoing personality with a passion for inspiring students to learn
• Confident and able to control the classes
• Capable of playing musical instruments (guitar preferred) and or singing/dancing is preferred.
