Duties and Responsibilities

-Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within their class;

-Creating lesson plans and modifying accordingly throughout the year;

-Keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum;

-Creating positive educational climate for students to learn in;

-Meeting course and school-wide student performance goals;

-Working closely with teaching assistant and other colleagues to plan and coordinate work;

-Participating in workshops and training sessions organized by the school.

-Organizing and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening.

Important information:

Start Date : Feb 25,2015

10,000-13,000RMB per month depending on experience and qualifications

Monthly Performance Bonus up to 500RMB

Provided Free private furnished apartment (close to school) provided (excl utilities) or 2000 RMB housing allowance with apartment search,

Paid and sponsored Z visa plus Foreign Expert Certificate (FEC) and medical insurance provided,

12000RMB Flight reimbursement on completion of contract for two year.

Paid public holidays, (11 days)

2 weeks paid summer vacation; 3 weeks paid winter vacation total 5 weeks paid vacation

Requirements

24-60 years of Age Native speaker (USA, Canada)

BS/BA Degree Above

TESOL or TEFL Certificate

Clean Criminal Background Check/Police Background report

Applicants should possess a strong academic background in the subject they teach, and experiences teaching high school students. Applicants with experience in curriculum development, the IB Diploma Program, international education and/or coaching are encouraged to apply.

Positive work ethic, punctual and open minded to Chinese culture,

2 year commitment (shorter contracts may be negotiated depending on specific circumstance)

5 working days per week. (Monday to Friday)

20 teaching hours per week maximum.
