JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. SCHOOL LOCATION: Taichung City, Taiwan 2. STUDENTS: 7~16 (Elementary /Junior high level) 3. CONTRACT TERM: Aug.16, 2016 - July 31, 2017; one year (renewable) 4. SALARY/MONTH: (BACHELOR NT$ 62,720), (MASTER: NT$ 69,965), (PhD: NT$ 73,025) 5. PERFORMANCE BONUS: Salary/month * 0.875 6. AIRFARE REIMBURSEMENT: (one way); NT$ 20,000 (single teacher)/NT$ 40,000 (w/ spouse) 7. HOUSING ALLOWANCE: NT$ 5,000/month (single) / NT$ 10,000/month (with spouse) 8. HEALTH & LABOR INSURANCE: provided 9. WORK PERMIT & ARC: provided 10. ANNUAL LEAVE: 9 days + national & regular holidays 11. WORKING HOURS: AM8:00 – PM16:00 or AM8:30 – PM16:30 (depends on which school ) ; Monday to Friday 12. CLASS SIZE: 5~15 children 13. CURRICULUM: ESL 14. FREE SERVICE: Assistance in finding accommodation, Airport pickup
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Developing ESL course materials and curriculum - Collaborative teaching with local Taiwanese teachers - Curriculum development project participation - Attendance at staff development, pre-service and in-service training meetings - English related contests
