【Position Description�'
-Position Title：Contract Assistant Professor
-Starting Date: August 1, 2016 (or later)
-Teaching schedule：8:00 am-5:20 pm, Monday – Friday, Basic
teaching hours: 10 hours per week, including evening hours
-Location：Hualien, Taiwan
【Duties�'
1.Teaching EGP/ESP courses.
2.Supporting English teaching and administrative duties in the school.
-Salary: NT $69,985 per month (and extra pay for extra hours)
-Work permit: Provided by the school
【Requirements�'
-Native English Speaker
-Transcripts
-Educational Level: PhD in TESOL or related fields
-CELTA (certificate of language Teaching to Adults) or DELTA (Diploma of language Teaching to Adults)
-Criminal Background Check
【Required Documents�'
-Curriculum vitae in English
-Proof of diploma and documents related to the position, or teacher’s certificated issued by the Ministry of Education, and authorized by TECO(Taipei Economy and Cultural Office)
-Two letters of recommendation
-A 10-minute teaching demonstration video (Preferred Proficiency level: CEF B1)
-Student Evaluations for the last two years
-Other relevant supporting materials such as transcripts, and, if applicable, evidence of effective teaching
