Course Consultant and Study Advisor

Description:

We are looking to hire 4 native English language speakers from the US, Canada, or the UK, with a background in education, in particular ESL, who can speak conversational Chinese to assess the English proficiency of Chinese elementary school students online.

The students are potential customers of our online learning 1-on-1 tutoring platform, as such, in addition to guiding students through our online level placement test, assessors will also make a course recommendation to the parents of the student and a soft-sell of the course.

We will provide the online assessment tool, complete technical and phone support, and training.

Skills:

Conversational Chinese; ESL experience; Online presentation/teaching experience.

Hours:

Negotiable, part-time and flexible positions available. Operating hours are China Standard Time (GMT+8) Monday - Friday 18:00-21:30 and Saturday-Sunday 08:00-21:30.  

Pay scale:

US$10-30/hr negotiable, potential for bonuses based on student conversion rates.
