Director of Studies Needed in Shanghai

A high end Taiwanese kindergarten in Shanghai is seeking for a Director of English Studies (DoS) , Start date : Sept 1,2012

Title : Director of English Studies (DoS) ESL/ Tesol

(Assistant vice-Principal)

Grade and Conditions of service: The salary for this post is reviewed annually by the organization Remuneration Committee .The salary will be ¥180,000 per annum . ¥15,000 per month

General Requirements:

The person must be a Native English speaker

The person sought will possess most if not all of the following characteristics:

1. An honours degree or similar equivalent professional qualification and a recognized teaching qualification

2. A record of continued study or professional development.

3. A substantial record of involvement in early education industry.

4. Successful tenure of a middle or senior management position in early education industry.

5. A record of achievement in teaching and in educational leadership.

6. Leadership qualities and an eagerness to assume responsibility and innovate.

7. Be an effective communicator, both written and oral, and have a high level of presentation skills.

8. Be well organized, able to give attention to detail and capable of ensuring efficient procedures.

9. Be committed to good working relationships and have the ability to motivate others.

10 Demonstrable habits of hard and sustained work.
