Talent Way was founded in direct response to the Chinese Central Government's directives on improving the laws, regulations, management and safety of all foreign teachers in China. Under the expert guidance of the Anhui Provincial Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs, Talent Wayï¿½s aim is to promote internationalization in Anhuiï¿½s local communities by helping to improve foreign language education and developing international exchange at the community level.

We are currently Interviewing for roles across the Province of Anhui in Primary Middle and Senior Schools

We would like to welcome all qualified candidates to apply to this program. We welcome all future International teacher candidates to learn more about Anhui history, culture and Chinese language. As of June 2017, Anhui has 119 universities, 56 colleges, 21 postgraduate training institutions, 412 secondary vocational schools, and 666 ordinary high schools.

The Role

Your place of work may be in a school, Office of Education, English Training Centre or any other educational institute that has been authorised and certified by the afore mentioned Provincial Government departments. Duties will involve assisting local teachers with their English classes, and/or jointly conduct English classes with local teachers, and/or extracurricular activities or English camps.

Class size: 30~36 students each class.
23 hours teaching per week.
October/November start -June/July finish (contract length 10months)
Option to extend contract to two years

Responsibilities:

To conduct English classes
To prepare teaching materials for English language education.
To assist in developing teaching materials for English language education.
To assist with activities related to English language education and other extracurricular activities.
To demonstrate a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Our Employment Package

Airport pickup upon arrival, free hotel accommodation during your first week orientation in Hefei. Due to Government legislation ï¿½ all candidates MUST meet the following requirements.
There are no exceptions.

Are a passport holder from: the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa (due to visa regulations)

And meet one of the following Education Requirements:

Have a bachelor degree from those countries above and at least 2 years teaching experience with reference letter.
Have a bachelor degree from those countries above and have a 120 Hr TEFL certificate.
have a bachelor degree from those countries above majored in education, language, or teaching field.

Welcome to Anhui - Invest, work and play

Anhui is located in the eastern part of mainland China. It is about 450 kilometers wide from east to west and 570 kilometers long from north to south. It has an area of 140,100 square kilometers and a population of more than 60 million.

Anhui is a very important transportation hub. There are two major railway networks, namely, Wanbei Intercity and Wanjiang Intercity. The Yangtze River, Huai River and Xin'an River all run through the province. Roads, railways, air, and water transportation are well-connected. Hefei is the capital of Anhui. There are 16 prefecture-level cities in the province.

Anhui has rich tourism resources and is one of the provinces with the most tourism resources in China. There are 5 national key scenic spots and 19 provincial scenic spots. The Wannan Tourist Area is the mountain scenery tourist attraction centered with Yellow Mountain and Mount Jiuhua. In addition, Anhui Province is one of the important birthplaces of prehistoric civilization in China. It has a profound cultural heritage and a long history. Huizhou Opera, Huizhou Architecture, Huizhou Merchants, Huizhou Tea Ceremony and Anhui Cuisine all constitute a rich and colorful Huizhou culture.
