The Role
We are seeking suitably experienced EAL teachers to join our large and vibrant department in the academic year 2016-17. The successful applicant will need to have relevant experience of teaching English as a second/additional language and have the ability to deliver a high quality language experience to children across the primary and/or secondary phases.
We are specifically looking for someone who has:
o A bachelors degree or higher (English related degree is an advantage)
o An EAL/ESL qualification (CELTA or higher is preferred)
o A minimum of two years working experience.
o A working knowledge of the UK national curriculum
o An understanding of EAL in the mainstream philosophy and practice
o Relevant teaching experience
o Experience in an international environment
o Good interpersonal skills (a team player)
o Experience of using technology to enhance learning
o Experience teaching a wide age-range of students
