Early Years Teachers for Preschool Department
GEMS World Academy – Little GEMS International
Little GEMS International (LGI) pre-schools embrace the GEMS Core Values, aiming to provide unique, high quality education and care (‘Educare’) for babies, toddlers and children underpinned by research and effective practice from around the world. The LGI unique method enables children to become confident, independent and creative learners. Developing a strong partnership with parents is an extremely important aspect of our provision.
Little GEMS International caters for babies, toddlers and children aged from 3 months to 5 years. Our Tianjin LGI setting will cater for Sapphires (2 – 3 years); Emeralds (3 – 4 years); Diamonds (4-5 years); Diamonds Plus (5-6 years).
The Posts
We are looking to recruit outstanding Early Years Teachers for our preschool department, ‘Little Gems International’, of GEMS World Academy – Tianjin based in China, which is scheduled to open in March 2013. While some of these positions will start from March 2013, we are also looking for candidates who are available throughout the year.
We would welcome candidates from both overseas and who are currently in China.
Early Years Teachers
We are looking for candidates with the following:
• Experience of teaching in an environment of excellence and high standards in terms of education and care;
• a thorough understanding of the development and learning needs of young children and their families;
• Candidates must have English as a first language.
• Candidates must hold suitable qualifications specialising in Early Childhood education, BEd, PGCE, Diploma, GNVQ 4 or equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience in a preschool environment.
