About us
We are a fully licensed and well established language training school funded in 2005. At our school, we teach general English to young learners and adults age 3-60. We work with local public schools to help their students to improve their oral English. We offer business English training to managers and staffs who work in local international companies. In 2014, we also developed French and German curriculum to meet the needs of students who have different learning targets.
There are less than 10 students in each class at our school. Classes are easy to control and manage. This allows the teacher to personally connect to their students and guarantees the learning result of each student.
We have a modern and effective curriculum with continuous training. We also provide upon arrival personal assistance which makes the moving transition smooth and adaption to a new country easy. As a teacher, you will get all the support at work and in daily life from our Chinese staffs and foreign teachers. Our goal is not only to create the best learning environment for the students but also to create welcoming work environment for the teachers.
We offer the full Chinese experience while teaching in China which includes free Chinese language lessons, free Gym at work, free apartment, and two consecutive days off that allows our teachers to experience China as often as they want while they stay with us.
About the city
Yantai is a coastal city located on the north-east part of China. With its beautiful warm summers and mild winters, Yantai is perfect year round. It’s large enough to offer western comforts without living in a mega city. Yantai is geographically located where it has almost any kind of culinary dishes one could want with the local seafood, fruits and vegetables. You can easily find Korean, Japanese, and traditional Chinese restaurants right next to each other. If you crave western food we have many of the fast food and western restaurants as well.
The cost of living is low compared to Beijing and Shanghai. With the same amount of salary paid in Beijing or Shanghai, you will be able to save at least 5000 RMB/ month after all the life expenses in Yantai. That gives you extra funds to travel while you are teaching at our school.
Our school is located on the 18th floor of a 5 stars hotel with central air conditioning and heating. The working and teaching environment is very conformable with a great sea view. While you teach at our school, you will enjoy work and the city, learn the Chinese culture and explore China.

Teacher’s Responsibilities
• Teach established curriculum to students

• Maintaining regular office hours

• Evaluating student’s progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement

• Participating in social activities with students organized by the school

Employment package
• 8,000RMB -10,000RMB to start with depends on diploma and experience

• Quarterly evaluation bonus

• 8,000 RMB flight reimbursement (paid upon contract completion)

• Free furnished individual apartment within a 5 minute walk from the school OR monthly housing allowance

• Legal Z visa with upon arrival personal assistance

• 12-month contract+ Salary increase if signing a second year contract+ resigning bonus

• 2 consecutive days off per week

• Maximum of 25 teaching hours per week with paid overtime

• 10 days paid vacation + at least 12 days paid national holidays

• Ongoing professional teacher development and training programs

To apply you need:

• A genuine interest in teaching and professional development

• Open-minded, patient, an adventurous spirit and professional flexibility

• 3 years and above Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

• Native English speaker from America, Canada, Australia, UK etc.

• TEFL, CELTA, or TESOL certification

• Two years teaching experienced preferred
