EFL Teachers needed for Dalian - Large, well established school in perfect location - March start date

The City

Dalian is a beautiful city that offers a perfect balance of city living with a beach side location. There are numerous festivals throughout the year including an ice-lantern festival, cherry blossom festival and the ever popular beer festival. Dalian has all of the comforts of a modern city with many modern shops and restaurants but is also well located for visiting important historic and cultural sites.

The School

Shane English School Dalian is a large school in the heart of the city in the happily named 'Children's Palace' building. They teach students from 3 to 14 years old, along with some adult classes. The school currently has 10 foreign teachers who work to provide communicative English lessons that enable students to go out into the world and actually use the language. This means creating a classroom environment that is engaging and fun, so they use lots of games to motivate the students to put their new knowledge into use.

Full support with everything from visa applications to setting up bank accounts is offered from the beginning of the recruitment process all the way through your contract.

Qualifications

• Native English speaker

• TEFL qualified teacher

• Bachelor's degree

• 2 years of post-graduate work experience (teaching experience given priority)

• outgoing, enthusiastic, friendly, hard-working, patient and professional teacher looking for a challenge

• desire to work with young learners

• culturally inquisitive and eager to do something different

Salary and Benefits

• Competitive salary: 9,000-12,000 RMB

• 20 teaching hours per week + 4 office hours

• Up to 4,200 RMB Flight Allowance

• 5,000 RMB contract completion bonus
