Energetic and Enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner needed for an IB candidate kindergarten in Yiwu, China

The position:
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Design, prepare, and deliver high quality lessons to suit the individual needs of students
• Create challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students
• Assess and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with other teachers to share ideas, approaches, and professional knowledge
• Communicate regularly with parents

The location:
Our school is located in Yiwu, Zhejiang, China. Zhejiang province is a province in Eastern China and it is known for its many hills, lakes, and rivers. Yiwu is an extremely vibrant and multicultural city with a booming international trade community. There are an abundance of international restaurants and the school is located next to a major shopping mall with easy access to international brand cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and leisure activities such as a gymnasium and arcade. The city has an international airport that makes travel easier. Yiwu also has a high speed train station making travel to cities such as Shanghai and Hangzhou fast and cheap.

Benefits will include:
• A post tax salary between 12,000 – 17,000 Chinese Renminbi per month
• Return flights to home country

The candidate we are looking for will meet the following criteria:
• Will be a native English speaker or will have a degree from a native English speaking country
• Will have a BA degree in education OR will have a degree in a different field with 2 years of post-graduate teaching experience
• Will be open to new ideas
• Will be enthusiastic and good at engaging with small children
• Will be energetic and willing to engage in play based learning with the children; including songs and dances
