English Kindergarten Teacher in China - Monthly Net Income $2830-$3420 Usd

English Speaking Kindergarten Teacher Information -- 2013-2014 School Year

Position: Full-time, English Speaking Kindergarten Classroom Teacher

Location: Futian District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China

Starting Date: 1 September 2013

Period of service: Two academic year contract

Grade level: Play group to Kindergarten, 2 to 6 years old

Teaching hours: 45 hours per week, normal of 5 working days per week

Qualifications:

* English Speaker

* B.Ed. /B.A. /B.Sc., & TEFL/TESOL Certificate, or B.Ed. /B.A. /B.Sc., plus a minimum of 2 years teaching experience in nursery schools, kindergartens or elementary schools (K-3).

* Preferred candidates will be those individuals who are trained, qualified and certified teachers, holding a Bachelor of Education or equivalent degree and who possess a TEFL/TESOL Certificate.

Duties: Class teaching in a bilingual classroom setting.

Teaching duties include, (1) Preparing daily, weekly and monthly lesson plans, (2) Written communication with parents once every week through student handbooks, (3) Completing portfolios on children’s development, 4) Working closely with fellow Chinese teachers to create a safe, caring, and friendly classroom environment, and (5) Assisting in co-coordinating and organizing special school events.

Salary: Starting from CNY 13,340 (Bachelor Degree) or CNY 17,060 (Bachelor of Education) per academic month after Chinese income tax (depending on qualifications and relevant experience).

Housing Allowance: CNY 4500/monthly

Performance Bonus: 15% of the total net salary of two academic year contract

Insurance: BUPA clinical and hospitalization insurance, and Zurich accidental insurance

Holiday: 42 paid school holidays + 10 paid sick leave days per academic year (non cumulative)

Visa: Chinese Foreign Expert Certificate & Residence Visa

* Please note that candidates already living and/or working in China, should have a legal living and working record in China and meet requirements for Foreign Expert Certificate & Residence Visa
