English Specialist

As an English Specialist, you act as a teaching assistant alongside an equivalent Chinese Specialist and a Montessori Lead Teacher. Together this teaching team provides a unique, bilingual learning environment to either 0-3 or 3-6 year olds in a multiple age group classroom. English Specialists are warm and outgoing native English speakers with an interest in early education and helping young children learn and succeed.

Requirements:

The minimum requirements for an English Specialist candidate is:

 Native English Speaker

 Bachelor’s Degree or TEFL/TESOL certified

 Relevant teaching experience (preferred not required)

OR

• Non-Native English Speaker

 Slight accent

 Bachelor’s Degree or TEFL/TESOL certified

 Relevant teaching experience (preferred not required)

Details:

 Competitive salary

 Full time, Monday – Friday (1 hour lunch break)

 Professional Development: EMTTA (Etonkids Montessori Teacher Training Academy) training available for Montessori certification.
