English Teacher

We are a private education company that provides native English teachers to kindergartens during regular school hours. We also have our own private tuition centers that oporate after school and on weekends.

What we offer:

15000 RMB base salary (extra pay for any classes over 25 hours a week)

Job description:

25 teaching hours per week ( approximately 15 hours during the daytime in kindergartens 4 days a week, and 10 hours at our centers in the evenings on weekdays/various times on weekends). You will either work Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, giving you 2 consecutive days off in a row. 

Outside of teaching hours, we allow for flexible office hours. The kindergarten lesson plans have already been prepared for you, although you are encouraged to make slight modifications and add activities as you see fit. We do require some involvement in lesson planing for lessons at our center, because our students will vary in age, capability and subject matter. The ownership is Chinese and American, so we understand the value to not waste anyone's time with mandatory office time. We are happy as long as you can complete the basic work requested. 

We are interested in expanding to various types of classes instructed in English, so if you love cooking, art, dancing, legos, singing, guitar, drums, piano, etc, you can have an opportunity to showcase your interests.

A little bit of information about our city: We are a city of about half a million people, so it has most basic amenities, but don't expect the same conveniences of big cities like Shanghai. We have some of the cleanest air in China. It is very easy to get around the city either by bus, e-bike or walking. We are on a high speed rail line, so Changsha is less than 2 hours away, Guangzhou is 4 and a half hours away.
