English Teacher Needed for an American Middle/high School in Tianjin China

Admiral Farragut Academy-Tianjin Campus is the main campus of Admiral Farragut Academy in China region. It is an international school aims to provide the courses to the students who want to study abroad in the US, UK or Canada.

The school is based in the inner city of Tianjin. It is a large city next to Beijing, a very livable city. The city has a large population of Westerners so all the Western comforts can be found here.

Responsibilities:

ESL TEACHER---Provide high quality ESL instruction to improve Chinese students’ comprehensive English ability.

Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals.

Prepare syllabus with clear objectives for each lesson, unit and project. These objectives should be in line with curriculum goals and should be communicated clearly to students.

Assess student learning through ongoing observations and more formal methods. Provide frequent feedback to students and parents and complete written progress reports.

Finish all tasks related to all kinds of tests, such as make out test papers, the register the exam result, analysis, etc.

Accomplish temporary task assigned by the executive director.

Monthly Salary: Negotiable (based on position and experience)
• Working hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
• Accommodation: School will provide house allowance each month

Requirements
• English Native Speaker (USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa)
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• CELTA/TEFL certificate or equivalent
• A minimum of 24 months Teaching experience is required, must be post-graduation
• Able to get a Criminal Background Check
• Applicants who can teach more than one subject are highly preferred
• Applicants who can have specialized in performing arts are highly preferred
