English Teacher Needed for Huaxia Bilingual School, Yueyang, China

A warm and enthusiastic teacher is needed to teach oral English in Huaxia Bilingual School. Our school is situated in Yueyang, in China’s Hunan province. Yueyang sits on Dongting Lake, has great transport links for travelling around the country and is proud of its environmental schemes which allow an exceptional air quality that isn’t found in other cities. The city also has a friendly community of foreign teachers who regularly get together.

You will be required to prepare your own lesson materials, such as powerpoint presentations and flash-cards, to teach in our primary school. You will join our International Department where you will be supported by a manager from the UK.

• 14 lessons per week (40 minutes per lesson) Monday-Friday 
• No office hours required 
• 8000RMB per month 
• Accommodation and meals provided 
• Working Z Visa provided 
• Round-trip flight allowance 
• 12 weeks of vacation per year and vacation allowance 
• Chinese lessons provided

Requirements:

• Able to comply with Chinese visa requirements 
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in any field 
• Hold a 120 hour TEFL certificate
