English Teacher Needed! (wfh Online Teaching Part-time or Full-time)

UTOP EDUCATION is looking to hire excellent teachers  for its K-12,  ClassTalk Program. Teachers will teach a full classroom of children during daytime China hours and assume a number of responsibilities in support of China K-12 education.

Qualifications (CLASSTALK Teacher)

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher (a must)
• K12 State Teaching License (USA/Canada) (a must)
• TESOL/TEFL Certification (a plus)
• Online teaching experience to large groups in a classroom setting (a plus)
• 2-5 years teaching experience in a K-12 brick and mortar classroom (a plus);
• Experience teaching public/private school (a plus);

Responsibilities (CLASSTALK Teacher)

• Support the CLASSTALK team by teaching: (a.) regularly schedule classes; (b.) demo classes and; (c.) other classes on an ad-hoc basis or “back-up” basis.
• Continuous feedback: liaise with teachers in North America and China on a “daily basis” to improve: (a.)  CLASSTALK classroom performance [Orchestra]; (b.) CLASSTALK teacher and; (c.) Local Teacher performance; through initiatives such as “continuous training”.
• Evaluate student performance, responsiveness and effectiveness of our programs to maximize: (1.) Student talking time and; (2.) College entrance examination compatible student talk time with a target of 100% and; (3.) Enhance cultural understanding.
• Conduct CLASSTALK research team into and implement the latest teaching methodologies supporting co-teaching and “higher dimensional” thinking.
• Support high level marketing efforts of sales team by visiting schools and meeting with education department officials at the city and provincial level.
