Several years ago Lafayette 148 New York established a school in Shantou, China to address the needs of the young, mostly poor, children who were not entitled to a public education. Our school started as a passion of our CEO but has become a passion for all Lafayette 148 New York employees in the US and China.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual English/Mandarin fluency a must
• Prior teacher/tutoring experience
• Independence
• Dynamic and clear expression
• Great energy
• Love of teaching
• Ability to commit for full 12 months beginning last August ‘12

Responsibilities:

• Write English lesson plans and provide instruction for grades K - 6
• Support and encourage students
