English Teachers Needed and Training Opportunities in Southern Thailand
Time2Talk English Academy Thailand is looking for full time and part time English teachers to start work in the provinces of Bangkok, Suratthani and Chumphon in southern Thailand.
We are looking for teachers to start work immediately and we are also starting the recruitment process for the second term starting in late October. If you are looking to secure a teaching position before you leave home please let us know when you are planning to travel, which province you are interested in and if you will be able to participate in a skype interview.
Starting from October 2012 and in time for the November intake of teachers, Time2Talk English Academy will be offering specialist Teacher Training Programmes focusing primarily on young learners. We have a large, existing network of schools and businesses looking for qualified English teachers.
The training will take place at our Head office in Suratthani and once you have successfully completed the course you will be placed in one of our existing schools or alternatively we will assist you in finding a suitable position elsewhere. The cost of the training will include full practical, academic and cultural training, job placement and accommodation.
We will be offering “early bird” discounts to those looking to start training from October 2012. Bangkok: Initial short term 2 month contract from early August to the end of September. We are looking for 1 talented teaching professional to work in a friendly, family run private school in a leafy suburb of Bangkok. The current teacher is leaving due to personal reasons, so we require a teacher to finish the current term. The successful applicant will have the option to continue working for the company on completion of this contract.
You will be teaching nursery, kindergarten and primary level students. This is a delightful school with extremely helpful staff and motivated students. You must be available from the first week of August as this will allow time for the current teacher to complete orientation training. The position will start in the second week of August.
Suratthani: We require full time and part time teachers to start work immediately in delightful and well resourced private English programs in the city of Suratthani. Very comfortable working conditions with motivated and very bright students. These are excellent opportunities in well run and professional working environments.
Rural Chumphon 1: We need 1 qualified and talented primary school teacher to work in a deeply rural location in southern Thailand. Monday to Friday you will be working in a delightful government school which has a private English program. Although the location is rural the working conditions and facilities are excellent.
You will be living in a small and friendly rural community 70 Km north of Chumphon town. This area boasts a beautiful coastline with many stunning secluded beaches. Do you have a spirit for adventure? Do you want to immerse yourself in local culture? Do you want to work away from the tourists? Are you self motivated and able to work in a small team? If the answer is yes then this is the job for you.
If you start to crave contact with your fellow foreigners the towns of Suratthani and Chumphon are a train or bus ride away. These are the places you can head for at the weekend if you want to get to the beautiful islands of Koh Samui or Koh Tao.
Rural Chumphon 2: Two English teachers needed to start work in a foreigner friendly and well resourced senior school in the province of Chumphon. Students are 13 – 18 years old. 30 – 40 students per class working in air conditioned classrooms with over head projectors, computers and wireless Internet.
If you are passionate about this profession and you are travelling to teach, we will be very interested to hear from you. Ideally we are looking for people who are considering making Thailand their home or genuine candidates who are planning to stay for a minimum of one academic year.
Enthusiasm, loyalty and commitment are the main qualities we look for at Time2Talk English Academy. Qualifications / Information
Applicants must hold a bachelor degree in any field. This is required to enable us to obtain a work permit for you. The most important qualification is your teaching certificate. All applicants should have a TEFL qualification, CELTA or any other relevant ESL qualification. Please bring all original certificates with you, they are required by the Ministry of Education during the visa and work permit application process. Teachers are now required to take a blood test and to submit a medical certificate for their work permit applications. You will be tested for drug or alcohol abuse and a short list of other medical conditions.
Applicants who do not have a teaching qualification but possess energy and a desire to learn will also be considered.
