English Teachers Needed in Harbin

While Pattison's salaries aren't as high as the major cities in China, they're still competitive as Harbin's cost of living is much lower than other cities. Most people generally save more than half of their salary each month and that's including rent, entertainment, food and transport.. Our probation period is 1-3 months depending on experience and teaching ability, and 7000 salary + 1000 accommodation compensation for 90hrs/month - any overtime is of course compensated (Y100/hr for regular salon classes and ordinary VIP classes, Y120/hr for Survival English, IELTS & TOEFL and Y120/hr for Academic Speaking, Writing and AP Classes). After a teacher has completed all their training, within the probation period the monthly salary is increased by a further 1000/month. In addition to this our company provides Foreign English Teachers with 2 bonuses on the completion of their contract; one is the standard flight bonus valued at 6000 and the other is a reward and accumulates at 500/month (most FT's get 5000-5500 of this on the completion of their 12 month contract with 500-1000 generally lost due to taking leave). Our school has one of the highest salaries you'll find outside of major cities. Free Chinese classes are also available for Foreign teachers once a week, we'll help you find an apartment and settle in. We also provide our teachers with training and the opportunity to observe classes before they begin teaching and a full orientation of our school.



Pattison is primarily an IELTS/TOEFL training center preparing teenagers through to adults with classes to prepare them for their study abroad. The majority of our students have a fairly high level of English and can be engaged in discussion. Most of them stay with us just 3-6 months, then go overseas. Although, quite a few return for classes throughout the vacation periods.



Our foreign teaching department is foreign managed and has a really good reputation. Currently we have more than 30 foreign English teachers and more than 75% of them have chosen to stay with our Company more than a year, and around 50% have worked with our company for 2 years or more. As you probably know, this is pretty rare for English schools in China.
