English Teachers Needed in Zhuhai and Dongguan, Guangdong Province

Zhuhai American TPR English School:

Zhuhai American TPR English School was established in 1992 and was the first English School in China to obtain ISO9001 certification. It has also obtained the RAB Certificate

(USA). In its 22 years of development, TPR has established a total of 16 branches and franchise schools in Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Dongguan. TPR has a well-structured management system and a team of dedicated and experienced staff and teachers.

TPR's Teaching Method:

TPR has adopted a specific and proven effective teaching method called Total Physical Response ¨C TPR for short - which was developed in the United States and Europe as a primary language teaching method. The school also focuses on "Situational English¡¯ and provides training to students of all ages.

Two native English speakers needed: One for Doumen (Zhuhai) and one for Chang¡¯an (Dongguan)

Details of contract:

1. Contract periods: 1 March 2015 to 28 Feb.2016

2. Starting monthly salary: RMB 8,100 based on 21 teaching hours per week.

3. RMB 120 per teaching hour for overtime teaching.

4. Air ticket allowance: RMB 5,000 every single year.

5. Performance bonus: RMB 2,000 per year.

6. Salary increment: Up to RMB 500 per month after the first year.

7. If teachers wish to live in a furnished two-bedroom apartment (shared by two teachers) provided by TPR, the rent would just be RMB 800 per teacher per month for the first year

8. Free internet access at all TPR branches

9. Free work visa (residence permit) and expert certificate

10. Medical insurance for accident and serious illness with limited coverage.

11. Transportation allowance from the school apartment to the branch if it¡¯s beyond 20 minutes¡¯ walking distance.

12. Free initial teacher training. (Salary will not be deducted during this period)

13. At least 30 days paid holidays.

14. Free outings every term. (Hot springs, rafting, cultural sites, Water Park, etc.)

15. Free Mandarin Chinese classes.

16. No office hours

Points about Zhuhai:

- Standard of living in Zhuhai is comparatively much cheaper than those in Shanghai, Shenzhen or Guangzhou.

- Zhuhai is a Special Economic Zone and is a key city in the PRD region.

- Zhuhai boarders Macau and is 70 minutes from Hong Kong.

- "The Best Model of International Residential Environment Improvement" was the award given to Zhuhai by a United Nations agency.

Candidate requirements:

1. Native English speakers from Australia, Britain, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and the USA.

2. Minimum qualification: A Bachelor's degree + 2 years¡¯ teaching experience. (Or a TEFL / TESOL / TESL / CELTA certificate)

3. Should have Enthusiasm to teach English to different age groups and be open to experiencing different cultures.
