English Teachers Required for September Start.

Putian number one middle school is the top high school in Putian and also ranks very highly throughout Fujian province. The company is EDUChina and this school is their flagship client. They (the school) need 4 native English speakers and one non-native (must be fluent), preferrably from France or Spain. This is a September start date posting. 2 years experience is preferrable but exceptions can be made depending on the applicant's qualifications. Applicants should be aged between 25 - 40 years old, but again, exceptions may be made depending on qualifications/experience. Main duties will include teaching English to 15-18 year old students who are studying for the Gaokao exam. The non-natives will also teach their own languages. You will also teach IELTS and TOEFL exam preparation classes so experience in these fields is preferred but not essential as training will be given. We also offer national culture classes. At the moment we have British/American but are looking to expand this, hence the French/Spanish teachers. Class sizes vary but for the most part they are 30 or 60 students per class. Some courses have a coursebook whereas others, such as the culture classes require lesson plans to be made by the teacher on a weekly basis. The contract is for 20 teaching hours (40 minutes) per week, although most current teachers don't achieve this. You will also see that there is a bonus. This is a very achievable bonus. It was mainly implemented to discourage procrastination. Its main focus is to encourage teachers to simply do what's asked of them in the original contract.
