English Teachers Wanted

ChinaIERC located in Beijing, China, International Education Research Center (ChinaIERC) is an official department authorized by Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. We are in charge of the subject about the advantages of foreign teachers in English teaching. Our mission is to motivate students to practise English and enjoy learning English.

We place dynamic and high calibre foreign teachers to our pilot schools to accelerate the learning and English-speaking ability of Chinese students. The students are enthusiastic and have good theoretical knowledge, and they are eager to learn native English.Teaching Oral English is easy and pleasant for native speakers, and will allow you to be immersed in the Chinese community, while providing a unique opportunity to explore this great country.

We are looking for teachers for the coming term. Most of our pilot schools will be open on the 1st of March., the placement for this coming spring semester will begins at the end of February, so please make some preparation in advance.

We currently have positions in beautiful cities in Hunan,Shandong,Anhui and Henan in the south of China. The duration will last till July, however the teacher can extend the contract if they wish.

Details of teaching positions in China

1.Position: Middle and high school

Location：Hedong(near Hefei),Anhui,China

Vacancies:4

Working hours: no more than 22 lessons per week ( each lesson is 40 min).

Duration:5 months- 1 year depending on teachers.

Responsibilities: Teach oral English to Chinese students ages10-18 years.

Create fun and interesting ways for students to learn English.

Requirements: Native English speaker or near native English speaker

TEFL certificate and experience preferred but not necessary.

Be able to start work in March,2013.

Benefits: School will provide free accommodation.

Help with visa costs and application.

Working in a modern and friendly environment.

3 hours Chinese course per week

2. Position: High school

Location: Bengbu(near Hefei),Anhui,China

Vacancies:2

Working hours: no more than 22 lessons per week ( each lesson is 40 min).

Duration:5 months- 1 year depending on teachers.

Responsibilities: Teach oral English to Chinese students ages12-18 years.

Create fun and interesting ways for students to learn English(Mainly based on the textbook).

Requirements: Native English speaker or near native English speaker

TEFL certificate and experience preferred but not necessary.

Be able to start work in March,2013.

3. Position: Comprehensive school (primary and middle high school)

Location: Liaocheng,Shandong,China

Vacancies:2

Working hours: no more than 22 lessons per week ( each lesson is 40 min).

Duration:5 months- 1 year depending on teachers.

Responsibilities: Teach oral English to Chinese student aged 8-15 years.

Create fun and interesting ways for student to learn English

Requirements: Native English speaker or near native English speaker(Female teacher preferred)
