English Teaching Positions at Jieyang No.1 Middle School, Jieyang, Guangdong (September 2012)

The School of Foreign Languages at Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai Campus, Zhuhai, China is looking for native speakers of English from the U.S.A.,U.K. or Canada to teach around 13 or 14 hours per week in No.1 Middle School of Jieyang city in Guangdong province.

Teaching positions are available starting early September 2012 until late June/early July 2013. Contracts are renewable for one further academic year if both parties are in agreement.

Applicants should be qualified to Bachelors or Masters degree level, preferably have an ESL qualification or experience, and have at least 2 years experience of teaching in middle school or university in China or their home country. Applicants should be between 30-50 years of age.

Summary of Benefits:

RMB200 (before income tax) each classroom teaching hour.

Individual accommodation free of charge (an apartment with sitting room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom; air conditioners, TV, washing machine and refrigerator). The teacher is responsible for gas, electricity, water and telephone bills.

Air ticket reimbursed upon completion of a one semester contract up to a maximum of RMB3000, and upon completion of a whole academic year contract (two semesters) up to a maximum of RMB6000.
