POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

Grades K-8 English (2 classes)
15 classroom hours/week
6 office hours/week
You will be assigned 2 classes between K-8th grade which you will stay with for the entire school year
No more than 20 students in each class
Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Starting Salary: 10,000-12,000RMB/month (after taxes) based on experience

Grades K-8 English (3 classes)
25 classroom hours/week
3 office hours/week
You will be assigned 3 classes between K-8th grade which you will stay with for the entire school year
No more than 20 students in each class
Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Starting Salary: 15,000-17,000 RMB/month (after taxes) based on experience and qualifications

PAY AND BENEFITS:
10,000 -17,000 RMB/month starting salary after taxes (experience and qualifications)
1000 RMB/month bonus for applicants with a Master’s degree in education or a government issued teaching credential
Airfare reimbursement up to 7500 RMB
Accident Insurance
Fully furnished apartment near campus (including utilities) or 3000 RMB monthly housing stipend
High efficiency air cleaners in all school supplied housing
Newly installed campus-wide air purifying system
Daily transportation between home and work provided (limited area)
Over 6 weeks of paid vacation days including 1 month during Spring Festival
10% average increase in base-pay for teachers returning the following year for 3 years
Additional weekend middle school classes available
Airport pick-up
Legal work for Z-visa
2-week training and orientation

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree
Native English speaker with North American accent*
ESL teaching certificate (depending on teaching experience)
Minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience and references
Minimum age of 25

*Carden China teaches using the Carden Method®, a U.S. teaching method. We can only accept Native English speakers who demonstrate a clear North American accent.


NOTE: Beijing now requires teachers applying for the Foreign Expert Visa to supply a Criminal Background Check with proof of no prior criminal record through your local police department. More information on this process can be found on your state's website.
