ESL, Art, Music, Drama, Science Teachers Wanted in Sie Education

• Prepare lessons based on provided textbooks 
• Attend school teaching seminars 
• Teach classes and occasionally open-day lessons 
• Hand in monthly work record and work revision on time 
• Give monthly or final tests for students when necessary 
• Build friendly relationships with students, teachers and administrators 
• Participate in English, art festivals, or other celebratory events in school 
• Be flexible with any occasional schedule changes 
• Use multimedia technology in classroom (teaching resource CDs, computers, projectors, etc) 
• Prepare lesson plans at school, correct students' homework, and mentor students when necessary 
• Teach English to students aged 3-6 (Kindergartens) or 7-15 (Elementary/Middle school) 

40 working hours per week including office hours, 24 classes per week, each class lasts for 40 minutes, 2 days off on weekends.

• 8am-12pm (Monday to Friday) 
• 2-6pm (Monday to Friday)

Paid Summer/Winter vacation

 

Competitive salary between 14,000-17,000 RMB, depending on teacher's qualification (before tax)
• Housing allowance 4,000 RMB/month, reimbursement requires receipt/invoices from the apartment 
• Paid Summer/Winter vacation 
• Same type of social security/health insurance as local Chinese employees 
• Flight allowance up to 8,000 RMB 
• 11 days of Chinese National holidays plus Summer/Winter vacation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree 
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate OR 2 years of teaching experience 
• Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland 
• Outgoing and sociable with a clear motivation to teach 
• Able to connect with students while delivering high-quality classes 
• Age: 22 to 45 
• Patient, professional and responsible, eager to help students improve both their English and their global awareness.
