ESL Director Position Announcement
Seeking a director for the INTERLINK Language Center at Indiana State University, Terre Haute.
Overview
The director leads an established center of learning offering intensive English, academic preparation and cross-cultural orientation programs to university-bound international students. Working closely with the university, the director contributes to enhancing cross-cultural education opportunities for both international and American students. Responsible for oversight and management of the language center, the director makes policy decisions both for the center and institution-wide with INTERLINK directors at other sites.
Qualifications
• Graduate degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or closely related field
• Minimum 3 year’s experience directing ESL/EFL programs
• Advanced Internet proficiency and related computer skills
• Superior communication skills: verbal, written, interpersonal, cross-cultural
Salary
Commensurate with experience
