College Prep Academy, an English language school located in Duluth, Ga., is looking for one (1) top-quality ESL instructor to teach a classroom of college-bound international students for a seven-month contract period, beginning January 10, 2012, and lasting until mid-July 2012.
The ideal teacher we are looking for will be responsible for implementing a curriculum that includes all four skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing), with a greater focus placed on oral production. This teacher will also be able to provide clear instruction in grammar, model examples to ensure thorough understanding has been achieved, and be available to assist and interact with international students beyond “the lesson plan.â€
Additional qualifications we will be looking for include the following:
* (Minimum) Bachelor's degree in education, English, linguistics, second language acquisition, TESOL, or a related field
* Teaching experience in English as a Second Language
* Ability to create and deliver clear, organized lesson plans
* Punctual and time-conscious in the classroom
* Excellent communication skills
* Great, upbeat personality
* Highly dependable
* Ethical and honest
* Multicultural sensitivity
* Bilingual capabilities (Korean English) a plus
