One of the most reputable middle schools in the region .Our middle school was founded in 1957, with over 4500 students, 70 teaching classes, it is one of the largest junior schools in Shangrao city. Shangrao is a very small town ,not rich ,this is a public school ,the case here is not like international school or training school .We do not charge students much for the Speaking English class ,only 360 RMB for a semester,because we know everyone deserve a chance to learn English .We really need you to help them with   English 。Please think about it , you might choose to teach in rich school over the high salary ,but how about poor students?So i hope you understand that we can not give you that much salary.

Courses

The majority of our students are young learners aged from 12 to 15 years old and courses are designed around a core of New Headway from Oxford Press set texts and supplementary materials. In addition, teachers are encouraged to use a communicative approach to teaching and to add their own extra resources and ideas to bring variety to the learning environment.

Teach English in Shangrao

Shangrao is ideally located at the convergent area of Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian and Anhui, separated from the capital city of Jiangxi Province, Nanchang by Poyang Lake. Around the city, there are five airports that can be reached from the city in one to three hours, including Wuyishan Airport, Quzhou Airport, Jingdezhen Airport, Nanchang Changbei International Airport and Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport.

Railways run through the eastern, southern and central regions of Shangrao. More than fifty trains arrive daily from Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Guangzhou at Shangrao Railway Station. Apart from the well-developed highway network, the area also has excellent waterway transport. Through the water systems of Le’an and Xinjiang River as well as waterways in northern Nanchang, ships can navigate Poyang Lake and northward to the Yangtze River.

Main Responsibilities

• Maximum of 20 hours teaching per week
• Monday to Friday schedule with weekends off
• Follow our company and schools rules, and use our teaching materials to provide our students with solid and creative classes
• Cooperate with our teaching assistants

Compensation

• Excellent salary: 8,000 – 13,000 RMB per month depending on qualification
• Well furnished apartment and 200 RMB for water and electricity bills provided
• Insurance provided
• Summer and winter vacations are provided with 100 RMB allowance per day
• Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided
• End of year bonus: 5,000 RMB
• On-going training and academic support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• TEFL certificate required
• Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa
• 2 years English teaching experience preferred
• Clean Criminal Record
