ESL Teacher in Shanghai

One of the most prestigious high schools in Shanghai, China is recruiting a TESL teacher for 2013-2014. The international program in this school is a one-year intensive English training program for a group of high-school students in order to help them getting ready for their 10-12 grade study in the United States. Now we are looking for a teacher with TESL educational experience, dedication, cultural flexibility, creativity and enthusiasm to join our faculty body on full time basis. Teachers teach TOEFL speaking, conversation, and American culture through literature, history, and geography. We need someone to concentrate on speaking and would incorporate your other talents into the program, depending on your education, experience, and interests.

All teachers teach up to 20 hours per week with a 30hr contract, with the remaining hours spent on office responsibilities and participate in faculty meetings, parents meetings and workshops. Position begins the last week of July. Apx. 15 vacation weeks per year, including winter, summer, and Chinese holidays. Requirements:

Native speakers

BA degree or above
