ESL Teacher Needed for One-year Contract

ESL Teacher needed for one-year contract at Carden School in New Taipei City, Taiwan.

One position beginning in late June and another in September 2014

Experience helpful.

Degree required

Native English Speakers only

25 hours / week: some mornings, afternoons, and evenings, Mon through Friday

Students: 4 to 14 years old

Provided by school:

• Full Curriculum

• 3 bedroom furnished apartment and utilities (possible share with another teacher)

• 94% reimbursement of airfare, or equivalent as cash bonus to those already in Taiwan.

• ARC

• 70% mandatory health and dental.

• Bonus pay up to $1,000 NTD/ mo

Competitive pay package. With Bonuses, Lodging, and Airfare reimbursement equivalent to about $63,000 NT/month

Working hours range from 9:00am to 6:30 pm M-F with three mornings off per week for each teacher (except for Summer Camp in July and August, when school is out at 5:00pm). Office hours beyond teaching and basic prep time not required.

7:00-8:00 pm Jr. High class on Tuesday and Thursday (except during Summer Camp)
