Job Description:

KnowledgeLink Group, a Boston-based educational consulting firm, is searching to fill a full-time ESL teaching position in a dual diploma high school in China. This high school is a partner school of St. Mary’s School, Oregon, which has established several partnership programs in China. The curriculum will mirror that of an American high school. You will join a team of American and Chinese teachers serving 30 to 200 students. More information on this program is available upon serious inquiry and submission of a resume and cover letter.

This is a 10 month assignment that will run through the end of June 2016. The ideal candidate will also have an engaging presentation style, be a dynamic presence in the classroom.

This is a highly exciting and challenging position in a growing international program, and qualified individuals may have the opportunity to advance into a lead teaching position.

Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree or higher

• US Citizen or able to work in the United States.

• Two years of teaching experience in a secondary school

• Good interpersonal communication skills

• Flexibility and open-mindedness

• International experience

Additional Qualities:

• MA Degree or higher

• Knowledge in Mandarin Chinese is a plus

• Experience with international students

• Ability to work independently and with others

Salary range of $18,000 to $40,000 (Non taxable allowance package includes paid apartment, international medical insurance, and meals at school during the week, equivalent of $15,000 cash value) plus one round-trip airfare per year.
