ESL Teacher Wanted

Brief Introduction:

Unistar (Australia Unistar International Vocational Institute) has fully integrated the rich educational resources of Australia and China, and brought the Australian TAFE in to China. Now we're planning to build the TAFE brand specialized for China in the future. So far, we've established several international cooperative projects with TAFE NSW, Australiain in Eastern China and Northern China such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Heilongjiang provinces and Shanghai.



Qualification:



&bu ll;Bachelor's Degree and above (preferably in education or teaching related field)

•Native English speaker under the age of 60

•TESOL/TEFL Qualifications(CELTA will get priority)

•Work experience: two years of teaching ESL/EFL or more.







Contract period:



Approximately 3 years, contract for 1 year (renewable).



Responsibilities & Duties:



Working hours: about 15 teaching hours face to face approximately per week, Meanwhile office hours is from 8am-4pm from Monday to Friday for fulltime teachers.



Class size

about 25-30 students (Class ratio: 1:30), 16-18 year-old students.





Direct teaching activities include but are not limited to:



•Face to face teaching;

•Marking;



•Cla ssroom support and advice;



•Supervision of self directed learning;

•Development of learning materials;



•Attendance at staff meetings;



•Familiarity with curriculum, program development and review

•assessment.

•Course coordination as specified in curriculum documents.
